I am extensively trained in Mindfulness based cognitive behavioral interventions (Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)) as well as EMDR Therapy which I use to help clients deal with big and small traumas/stressors. I believe that through increased awareness and acceptance of who you are we can identify behavioral or emotional patterns that are keeping you stuck. I have a down to earth and compassionate style and will help you identify your innate strengths.
I have over 8 years of experience working with adolescent girls and have been working with male and female adult clients since 2010. I strive to help clients increase their emotional, psychological, and physical health as well as improve communication and relationship skills, decrease stress and emotional reactivity, and identify barriers.
I welcome patients trying to cope with chronic pain and understand that it can be lonely and frustrating. I have specialized training in treating chronic pain and can offer compassion, empathy, and my personal experience to help with issues specific to you.
